I grew up on a farm, with the nearest town being a 2 hours ride away. I spent my early years as a loner, always wandering somewhere near the stables with a notebook and a pen as my best friends and loyal companions. I loved writing, and if you’re reading this blog now, you can see that I still do. I was climbing the nearby tree and observing the horses. So powerful, so majestic. I loved seeing them racing through the horizon. A horse never runs so fast as when he has other horses to catch up and outpace. So I started running with them. Sometimes on their back, sometimes not. I soon became an athletic runner and a horse-riding champion. The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit, and freedom. So I decided to create a community that was reflecting just that. A Community of the Horse.
The primary focus of this blog is to provide answers to many of the questions we have about sport and wellness. What are the best core exercises? How to learn how to meditate? Why do prenatal sports? When to resume sports after pregnancy? All the articles are written in collaboration with the professional sports coaches who run the online sports-related health courses on the Community of the Horse. They share with us their sports advice, their wellness routine, and their best sports exercises. Depending on your objectives, access a wealth of information to help you have a flat stomach, lose weight, get back into post-partum sports, create your sports routine… And become as strong as a horse!
